Croce Bianca Hotel & Restaurant is a small family-run hotel situated on the lakeshore of the small town of Omegna. It's placed in very center of the city and is visited both by tourists and locals, which attend especially the restaurant.
The rooms overlook the city or the beautiful Lake of Orta. The city streets with their shops and bars surround the hotel, the market square is just in front of it and the boarding stop for the ships on service to the city of Orta and the Island of San Giulio is just 150 meters away.
Once upon a time.... Tradition dates back to the 1870's the birth of Hotel Croce Bianca and in fact it is mentioned for sure in some writings of the late 19th century. The postcard comes from the 1920's while the photo is probably even earlier.
